While I have been on vacation I started looking for a new job, I do not know what I will find out there it is a very tough time to change jobs and I do not want to be without a job while I am looking for a new job. I would like to get away from working all night and get a more normal job that has better benefits that the job I am working right now. I will keep looking even after I go back to work this week. I know there has to be a better job out there somewhere, and I hope it finds me or better yet that I find it very soon.

This week is when I had to use my last week of vacation this year. I hate the term use it or lose it, but I did not want to just give the paper back my unused vacation. It was to late notice to go anywhere so i am here at home having a stay at home vacation. I have to admit it was fun to lie in bed until noon today and not stress being at work ar getting ready for work, let me just say that I could get real used to this way of life. Only six more days and then back to the grind. Man this sucks!

Tomorrow is a very special day for me and many others in America. Veterans day is a holiday that does not get a lot of attention, at least here in Nashville we have a nice little parade. I remember as a child we would have a huge parade for Veterans Day but I guess life gets in the way for many people now days. I will be taking off from work to go attend the parade and I will show my support the best I can to the veterans and to the troops serving now, they need us behind them and our full support as they protect us and our country. I love the troops and the honor they bestow upon our great country.

In spots around Nashville the price of gasoline is under $2.00 a gallon, if you had said a month ago that the price of gasoline would drop that much and as fast as it has dropped I would of called you crazy and at that time I would of been right too. I paid $2.24 last night for gasoline in Franklin and that seemed cheap to me until I noticed on Gas Buddy that the price was under $2.00 in a couple of places. I checked in Oklahoma City who are normally a month ahead of us in price and it is $1.91 there, let us hope it gets that low here soon, that will help the gasoline budget for this rest of this year.
