A habit I picked up a long time ago was to watch the world’s earthquake activity, and I have noticed a recent upswing in the activity around Yellow Stone Park. Today I read a story about that the so called experts are calling for a volcano to possibly erupt in that area. It is one of the largest volcano’s in the world and has not erupted in about 40,000 years and is way over due. I watched the Mt St Helen’s eruption in the 1980’s and that was enough for me. If I never have to witness another volcano erupting it would be fine with me.

I have not missed a Monday night football game in many years, tonights game is one that in the past would of been a very interesting game to me. The Bears and the Packers is a huge match up in most years but the Packers have slide out of the playoff picture and the Bears have a poor offense. That makes me wonder if I will spend the time to watch it or just go to bed early. Of course the football game won out and I will be tuning in to watch the big game between the Bears and the Packers.

We have the problem every year of which to have on what holiday, ham or turkey. We try to have one Thanksgiving and the other at Christmas. I am not a huge fan of turkey but once a year is ok with me. I grew up having ham or roast beef on holidays so the turkey thing is pretty new to me, but I can adapt when needed. We had turkey at Thanksgiving so bring on the ham for Christmas dinner I can hardly wait.

I have decided to leave my job of three years to better find myself. I was thinking of trying to find a job with a band here in Nashville that travels a lot. I have worked on sound systems for many years and I think it would be a whole lot of fun to travel around putting on music shows and since I have no musical talent I would have to work on the crew and that is very fine with me. So anyone who needs a first class sound man let me know I am ready to roll out of here at first light tomorrow.

Today the price of a barrel of crude oil dropped to $47 it has not been this low in many years and I hope the pump price of gasoline keeps falling too. It is now at a level where I can make some extra money and not have to pay an arm and a leg to fill up my gas tank. I filled up the Tahoe and it only cost me $30 a few weeks ago it was very close to $100 every time I filled it up and that about drove me to drink. I was not going to drink gasoline either. Let us hope it stays down under $2.00 a gallon and I can get ahead for a change.
