On my first weekend with out having to work I was given a list of “chores” to do and I see no way I can finish this list before I turn 65 and get ready to retire. It is a shame to miss all this good golf and fishing weather with a damn list of stuff to do. I think I will wait one week to start this honey do list and get in some golf before she finds out I am gone and then maybe I can go fishing later on when it cools off a bit. Maybe a nap befre then will help my mind work better, ya a nap is on the agenda.

UPDATE: There was no nap and no golf and no fishing, she found me.

I have not missed a Monday night football game in many years, tonights game is one that in the past would of been a very interesting game to me. The Bears and the Packers is a huge match up in most years but the Packers have slide out of the playoff picture and the Bears have a poor offense. That makes me wonder if I will spend the time to watch it or just go to bed early. Of course the football game won out and I will be tuning in to watch the big game between the Bears and the Packers.

After Monday nights Cleveland Brown upset of the defending champions the New York Giants there is only one unbeaten team left in the National Football League, The Tennessee Titians are the last team without a loss, I guess it was a very good week to have our Bye week. There were so many upsets who knows if we could of held out. Last week Buffalo dropped from the ranks of the unbeaten and this week it was the Giants. Next week we face a weak team the Kansas City Chiefs but those are the ones who win in the weird weeks.

I can not wait for the Indy 500 this year I watch it every year and this year will be no different. It is about the only open wheel race that I watch any more. I do not know a lot of the newer drivers all the old names are now owners or out of the sport. I still remember watching A.J. Foyt drive and cuss and fight his way around the track, none of the newer driver have those kind of balls anymore no matter what kind of racing it is. Sometimes missing the old days is not a bad thing, every thing now is so marshmallow you do not want to offend anyone with how you act or what you say. I think that is a load of crap.ucks
